See DetailsDigital pressure gauge instrumentation is a comprehensive product of a variety of science and technology, a wide range of varieties, widely used, and constantly updated, there are a variety of classification methods. In the nineteenth century, with the invention of measuring current instrumentation, only to make the study of electricity and magnetism quickly on track to obtain major discoveries to promote the advent of the electrical age. Their scientific legacy to future generations often includes two sectors, one is the discoveries of scientific exploration, and the other is the new technologies and instrumentation created in the course of such exploration. Instrumentation science and technology such as digital pressure gauges continue the rich heritage of human civilization. So what is the difference between a digital pressure gauge and an ordinary pressure gauge?
Principle of digital pressure gauge
Digital pressure gauge through the table within the sensitive components (bourdon tube, membrane box, bellows) of the elastic deformation, level transmitter, input level transmitter, hydrostatic level transmitter, and then by the digital pressure gauge within the movement of the conversion mechanism will be the deformation of the pressure conduction to the pointer, caused by the pointer rotation to display the pressure.
Functional characteristics of digital pressure gauge
Autoranging: Provides high resolution and accuracy in the low-pressure range when required.
Stabilise Mode: The stabilize function is used to stabilize the reading. It will display the average of the first four readings.
Auto Power Off: Automatically shuts off after 40 minutes to save battery.
Zero function: Provides quick one-touch zero return.

Difference between digital pressure gauge and normal pressure gauge
Ordinary pressure gauge:
Not resistant to vibration, vibration is easy to cause damage. And must be kept vertical during calibration. Measurement of the liquid pointer gauge there is a change in the height difference (spring defects), only the center of the table sets the reference. It can only be viewed horizontally, with parallax, and the reading can only be estimated, with a large error. Zero point variation is large. Large temperature coefficient. Large linearity and hysteresis. Difficult to clean inside. Cannot be overloaded, otherwise, it will lead to permanent damage. Not resistant to fatigue. Pointer-type precision pressure gauge selection must be larger than the inspected table specification, and, can not use the same piece of standard pressure gauge, long time calibration of the same limit of the inspected table. Reliability is very poor, needs frequent maintenance, and maintenance is difficult, needs a professional level. Poor sensitivity, need to knock the case when reading.
Digital pressure gauge:
Vibration resistant. No effect of vertical or non-vertical. No change in column height difference. Digital display, no parallax. Small zero-point variation. Temperature compensation, small temperature coefficient. Linearity, small hysteresis. Easy internal cleaning. Large overload range. No influence. High reliability, almost maintenance-free. High sensitivity.
Through the above, you can know the difference between digital pressure gauges and ordinary pressure gauges. Ordinary pressure gauge is not resistant to vibration, vibration is easy to lead to damage, while the digital pressure gauge is resistant to vibration, vertical or not have no effect, the combination of the digital pressure gauge and ordinary pressure gauge is more durable.
